All over the place!
Now that Cole is crawling I can't keep him in one place for two seconds! His game right now is to crawl to the Christmas tree as fast as he can because he knows he is not suppossed to touch it, then when he sees me coming to get him he will laugh and scream because he thinks it is a game! It is very adorable and makes it hard to tell him that is not what he should be playing with! I took Cole to his first eye doctor appointment today for a checkup and everything looked great so the optometrist said that unless something changes his next eye appointment should be when he turns two. Cole thought it was hilarious when the assistant covered one eye then switched back and forth between them, he also tried grabbing it from her hand to taste it. And for the first time this evening Cole bit me, not on purpose but he loves to bite clothing and I didn't realize what he was doing until I felt his very sharp vampire like teeth in my collarbone! It scared and hurt me so when I screamed he starting crying because it scared him! Needless to say I have a very dark sore bruise to show for it! There is a winter storm heading for us tonight so I am glad I get to spend the day inside with Cole tomorrow! I don't think I am ready for Christmas break to end in a week and half! If I don't get to post before this weekend I hope everyone has a very happy New Year!!

Finally an update!!
I am sorry it has been almost 2 weeks since I last updated! I haven't had a computer since December 13th so it has been hard to find time using other people's computers to make the blog updates. But I am in Sioux Falls and have been up since 4am this morning with Cole (who is finally sleeping!) and since I can't go back to sleep for some reason I thought I would hop on the computer and let everyone know what is happening!
Cole finally learned to crawl!! He just took off last Monday Dec 20th and hasn't stopped since! It is so cute watching him crawl to get things he should not, such as my purse or the DVD's off shelves that I find it hard to make him stop. I am sure that novelty will wear off and it will not be so cute in a few weeks! We have also started him on Gerber yogurt bites about a week an a half ago which he loves, it only took about a day before he figured out how to move them around in his mouth and swallow them, another month or so and we'll start on the real grown up food! Cole also had his top right incisor break through all the way yesterday which makes for 7 teeth right now with one more on the bottom still trying to come through! I am hoping after these ones are all in we will get a break for a little while. He has also had no lack of love or toys the past week, we celebrated with Jason's family last Monday where he recieved some very nice toys and clothes from Grandma, Grandpa, aunt Becky and uncle Jamie. Then we drove to Sioux Falls on Wednesday and had 4 different Christmas's with all of my family! We are so thankful for all of his gifts and for everyone who loves him!
I have been enjoying my time off from school very much! This has been a great break so far and I still have two more weeks off to spend with Cole! I brought my computer in to a place that is Mac certified in Grand Forks where they discovered it was the hard drive that broke which thankfully is still covered under my one year warranty. They were also able to back up my hard drive for me for a nice $200-$300 dollars! But some of my pictures and videos on the computer are priceless so paying the money will be worth it in the long run. I will also be purchasing and external hard drive this week! Hopefully the computer will be ready by the time school starts. Jason, Cole and I are heading back to Grand Forks today since Jason has to work tomorrow but we will miss hanging out with our family down here however we will get to go back to our family in ND! I hope this updated everyone for now, I hope I can get on in the next week for another blog but until then I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and has a wonderful New Year if I don't post before then!!

Terrible, horrible, no good very bad day!
It has been a very long and frustrating day today. As I was working on my final portfolio for one of my classes, my brand new four and half month old laptop crashed. And of course I have everything saved to that computer. After a few hours on the phone with my sister (she is wonderful) as well as the Apple tech guy I have accomplished nothing. My sister and I have come to the conclusion soley based on other examples of this happening to MacbookPro's that it is the hard drive. I will have to call Apple again tomorrow and figure out what exactly to do. There is an up side however, since it is under a year warranty I am covered for it to be replaced the worst part is none of my other items are backed up. Let this be a lesson for those of you who do not back up your data! Learn from me! But as for the final I will go to the computer labs tomorrow before my final at 10:15am and see what I can get done, and from there I will have to take the grade no matter how bad it may be.
On top of all that Cole's bottom right tooth is starting to make its way down so he has been miserable again today which means I have a feeling it is going to be a long night. I would like it to be Friday now! On a good note, Christmas is less than two weeks away which means we will get to see all of our Sioux Falls family soon!! (Cross our fingers weather permitting!)

Another tooth
Cole's bottom left tooth came through overnight and it was another long night that came along with it! I am hoping now that the one has come through he will sleep better tonight before we start with the rest that are making their way down. Cole is getting around very well the past few days and while he is not crawling on all fours yet he does know that he can make it to where he wants when he wants something! Below is a picture of what he did this weekend when I put him on the floor in our bedroom while I was getting ready, he didn't mind staying under there for a little bit but when he figured out there was nothing for him to play with he wanted out from under the bed! We did a little bit more Christmas shopping today with Becky where for the first time since I started at UND 8 years ago I learned that I get a discount as a student at the Ralph Sioux shoppe! I wish I would have known that for all the times I have bought Sioux stuff other places in town. Two more days of classes left before finals! Thank goodness!!

Weekend
We had a nice weekend at home these past few days and got some Christmas shopping done as well! Cole is such a good shopper and I feel lucky because we can take him anywhere and even when it's time for him to eat or sleep he's does not get crabby! I'm sure it will change when he can run around and take things off the shelves, but for right now I will enjoy it! We had wonderful weather up here this weekend too, no wind and in the upper 30's. If winter could be like this for the next few months I would not complain.

Moving backwards!
Cole has been moving all over the place now, he has learned how to get around backwards very well now! Last night I watched him play with the clock and his diapers that we keep under the end table in the living room and I think he would've played with them all night if he could have, he loves being able to move around now. And since he knows he can get around he has decided he does not like his exersaucer so much anymore because it makes him stay in one place! He is getting up on all fours quite a bit but still can't figure out what to do from there, I have a feeling by Christmas it will be a different story! We tried peaches tonight of which he did not care for. I tried the baby food peaches before and I thought they were very tart especially for babies so it did not surprise me that he didn't care for them, he may change his mind but for sure his favorites are banana's and pears.
Only two more weeks of classes left and I am so ready to be done with this semester! It has gone by very fast but these last two weeks are jammed packed full of homework and projects so Christmas break will be very welcomed around here!

A black Friday!
Okay so I broke down and went to Baby GAP before 10am for their 50% off sale!! I didn't go crazy because Cole already has more than enough clothing for the next year and because Cole and I did get there a little after nine. If you weren't in line by ten they were not giving people the sale. So he got two pairs of jeans and a sweater that I kept falling in love with every time I went there! All for under $40 and since their jeans rarely go on sale I just could not resist! Cole was a perfect angel the whole time too, we had to stand in line for about a half hour and not a peep from him all he did was look around at everyone and take in the crazy people throwing clothes on the floor!
I did take Cole into his doctor today though, he has been so fussy these past few days even more than usual for teething, no ear infection but he did have a little fluid in one ear so she said to keep an eye on incase it does turn into one. We switched his formula back to Similac, and will just have to keep up with the Tylenol until those next two teeth come through! Below are a few pictures of Cole from yesterday looking though all of his black Friday ads!
The mess he had a lot of fun making

Happy Thanksgiving!!
A very happy Thanksgiving to everyone! We had a great two days with a lot of food for leftovers! Last night we had a dinner at Becky's (Jason's sister) house and tonight dinner here! Both were wonderful meals and I don't think I should eat until Monday to make up for the past two meals! Cole has been very crabby the past two days and for anyone who knows him that is unusual so I took a look in his mouth today and sure enough there is ANOTHER tooth trying to poke through! Poor baby, he gets one in and can't get a break before the next one starts coming through. I'm sure in a few months I will be happy they decided to break in all at once but right now we're both miserable! He has been sleeping though the night (cross my fingers) but he seems to also be staying up later than normal too so that may play a part. He did have a lot of fun today though we let him play with all the sales ads that came with the Thanksgiving day paper and since he normally doesn't get to do that he thought that was pretty fun! I don't think we will be venturing out to any stores tomorrow for fear of dying, although I did have a momentary lapse of sanity and thought about going to Baby GAP because GAP is having a 50% off everything in the store sale until 10am! And if there is one thing I love more than coffee it's GAP. But I'd have to be very ambitious tomorrow and I don't see that happening!

Five day weekend!
My class for tomorrow has been cancelled due to the impending winter storm! Thank goodness too because after writing a five page research paper and giving a presentation on it today I need the break! Cole tried bananas and oatmeal today and loved both of them! And for the first time tonight he sat up in the bathtub like a big boy, he wasn't sure what to do at first but after a few minutes he started having fun trying to catch the water from the faucet and playing with the drain! The left top tooth finally popped through all the way yesterday so we both got a nice full nights sleep last night! I hope the winter storm will be kind to us tomorrow but I have learned not to get my hopes up with the weather, but we'll see! The picture below is of Cole helping us decorate the Christmas tree, he loves Christmas already just like his mom!

Oh Christmas tree!
We set up the Christmas tree this evening and while it does not yet have lights or decorations it is up! I think we will finish it tomorrow as well as getting the lights up outside! A little snow has started to fall, we were under a winter weather advisory but that has since disappeared and I think we will just end up with an inch or two on the ground. Cole tried applesauce tonight and to my surprise he did not like it, he ate a few bite but then refused it. We will try again tomorrow though! I am going to the Miranda Lambert concert tomorrow night with two friends from back in massage therapy school so I am looking forward to getting out for the night and seeing some old friends! It will make a nice end to the weekend and a good start into Thanksgiving week!
I have a research paper due in one of my Tech classes on Tuesday. I do not mind writing papers and I do not mind writing five page papers, however I hate writing five page research papers. And of course I have know since September when it was due and what I had to research but of course I sit with a blank work document and instead fill in the blog! As long as it's done by Tuesday I will be okay but it could be a long Monday night! Cole has only been waking up once through the nights now and with a little Tylenol and a bottle he's back to bed until morning. The left top tooth should poke through by Thanksgiving and we both will enjoy sleeping through the night again! I will make sure to post pictures of Cole next to his first Christmas tree tomorrow!

One is through!
The top right tooth is broke through overnight and sleep was our reward! It was all the way through this morning and the top left one should be in by the end of the week! Cole slept through the night again last night which was a huge blessing since I have been lacking on sleep the past few days. We tried sweet peas tonight and he loved them! I think he liked them better than the yellow vegetables, I could hardly get them in his mouth fast enough! I ate a lot of sweet peas when I was pregnant with him so maybe that helped a little!

Green beans? Not so much.
Cole has decided he does not like green beans which does not surprise me. The first day went well, last night he would barely finish half the bowl and tonight he ate about three bites before refusing them all together! I think we will just move on to sweet peas tomorrow night and rotate back to green beans in another week or two and see if he changes his mind. The top front tooth on the right side is so close to poking through which I think is giving him some relief because he slept through the night Sunday and he was only up once last night! Hoping for a restful night for us both again tonight!
Taste of the holidays was tonight in Grand Forks and while I am a fan of eating and drinking wine I was not a fan of how crowded it was. This was the first year I have gone and was told by Karen that when they have had it at the Alerus center in years past crowding was not as much of an issue as it was having it at the Ralph. It was nice to get to try a lot of different wines, beers and other drinks that I normally would not have been able to try without buying first. If I do go again next year I hope they will think of changing back to the Alerus center in order to keep things a little more orderly!

Teeth, teeth hurry through, we are tired of dealing with you....
It has been a VERY long weekend. Cole has been teething the past few days with his top two front teeth trying to come through. The worst of the day so far was Friday night. He woke up five times during the night which is the most he has been up since being born! Last night was a little better with him only getting up three times but I need those teeth through now!! After bath tonight I did look in there and the corner of the top right is just poking through, however it's just the corner which means the rest of the tooth has yet to break skin so I have a feeling it's going to be another couple days before they make it! Tylenol and Motrin have been about our only life savers through this. We were lucky enough to have my sister Becca and brother Andrew up here this weekend however and even with the lack of sleep we had a lot of fun!
Cole started on green beans tonight and he was not sure if he liked them at first but after a few bites decided he could finish the whole thing! Hoping for a little more sleep tonight but I am not going to get my hopes up until those teeth come in!

Carrots
School has been busy this week so this if the first day I have had to post on the blog! And since it is veterans day I need to thank my mom, brother Andrew, cousin Kevin, bff Jaime, great uncle Don both of my Grandpa's and the hundreds of thousands of veterans out there, thank you for serving our county! I do not have class today however I do work the overnight at the hospital, that is one place that does not close! Cole tried carrots yesterday and he really seemed indifferent about them, kind of like the sweet potatoes and squash! We will be trying green beans this weekend and I have a feeling he'll think differently of those.
As for the Gerber voting, he is still in second place but I have a feeling it will be impossible for him to get to first. I have read that there are parents who have figured out a way to cheat the system on the website and I believe we're up against one of them! We seem to get very close to first and then about 12:30am-1am the other child will all of a sudden get 30-40 votes and keep getting them all the way up to 100 or more votes a day! And even though I have 600 friends on facebook only about 30-40 vote a day which I appreciate so much! But as for the other 550 without at least one vote from them we won't win for this month. It's okay I know he is the cutest baby out of the milestone group anyway, I've looked through all of them for this month!

Sweet potatoes
Cole started sweet potatoes on Friday and likes them as much as he likes squash, I have a feeling he won't be a picky eater with baby food. Must take after his mom! We will try carrots on Tuesday and then probably start with greens. We had a very good weekend however Cole is getting his two front baby teeth and seems to wake up a lot during the night, he does fall back asleep but I can tell he is in some pain. Unfortunately they don't look like they're ready to come through for a little while, he's also been fighting a cold the past few days so for as bad as he has been feeling he's been a very good baby! Cole is in second place so far in the Gerber baby contest but is about 50 votes behind the 1st place baby, we do have until the end of November to catch up but we will need everyone's help in voting! You are able to vote once a day everyday so keep up the good work and thank you to everyone who is voting!! Looking forward to another beautiful week of weather in Grand Forks as well, more walks for Cole and I!

OB pictures
Okay so there has been A LOT of picture taking in the past month, no wonder Cole doesn't ever want to smile! But I was able to get a sneak peak at his pictures that will be up on the OB ward of the hospital and they are posted below! I have to give credit to Farrah Lee Spivey for taking these beautiful pictures of Cole, she did an amazing job and I can't wait to see how wonderful they will look on the walls of OB!

Vote, vote, vote!
Just wanted to remind everyone that voting for the Gerber baby contest has started! I know the email part of the voting seems to be going slow but it does eventually get to your email! Thank you to everyone who has voted today we'll just need to keep it up until the end of November! As you can tell I have also changed the blog around a little bit, I liked the more simple design of this one and I find it easier to read, I hope everyone else likes it too! Cole made a huge improvement tonight with his baby food, we're still on squash and he finally opened his mouth all by himself without us trying to trick him into doing it and he ate the entire bowl of food! I am very proud of him! Oh the things mom's get excited about!

6 month check up
Cole had his six month check up today and his stats are 27 1/2 inches long and 18lbs 5.5oz he's in the 80th percentile for height and 60th percentile for weight. He also received 4 vaccines! He did great though and only cried for about 15 seconds, much worse for me than him! His doctor said everything looked wonderful and he was right on track and hitting every milestone plus! She also suggested starting some baby food since he is not a fan of rice cereal so for the first time he had squash tonight and while he did not gag and try to spit it out he sure would not open his mouth and make it easy for me! We'll see how tomorrow night goes with the second try of squash. Voting for Gerber baby starts Wednesday so as a reminder here is the voting website!!

First Halloween
Cole's first Halloween was about as successful as I thought it would be! Not one picture of him smiling in his costume! After about 27 pictures I gave up and I was just happy he was even looking in the direction of the camera! Below are a few pictures of his first Halloween, we went and visited Jason's mom working at the hospital then when down to the ER and visited with a coworker who also brought her baby (3 1/2 months) dressed as a bear, so they took some pictures together, both of course showing just how enthused they were that their parents put them in silly costumes to laugh and take pictures! Hopefully Cole will show a little more excitement next year!
Just wanted to add one more note, we have entered Cole into Gerber's cutest baby contest, voting for his month will start November 3rd and end the 30th, to vote go to the link below and click vote (starting the 3rd) you can vote once a day everyday! You will have to have an email address to do so but you will not get anything from them they just need to make sure voting is fair so that is why they ask for it. At the end of the month one child from each milestone (6 milestones) will be chosen by who gets the most votes! Each of those six will win a video camcorder then in January the children from the past six month who won will be judged by Gerber's judges and the winner out of those 36 will win a $25,000 scholarship for college and a Gerber photo shoot. So that being said this next month is very important that everyone vote everyday, after that his chances will be 1 in 36 of winning! So please vote!! I will remind everyone again starting Wednesday! We hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween!

Wedding buzz
Since Cole is sleeping and I for once in the afternoon have nothing to do I will just post a little about what's going on with wedding planning! Jason and I have decided to save a little money on invitations and make them ourselves. Since I would rather spend a few hundred dollars on anything but paper that people will just throw away afterwards I figured why not? And being a graphic design major this project was actually a more fun part of the planning for me but this is a sneak peak of what they will look like, you will have to wait to see the whole thing when it comes in the mail!
Invitation
RSVP
We will be saving about $400 by doing this so to me it is well worth it! I also talked to our cake lady yesterday and she has told me that this is the last year she will be baking and decorating cakes, I am very thankful to have booked her because from what I have heard she is as an amazing decorator as she is baker so I cannot wait to see how it turns out. I do not have an exact picture of what the cake will look like but this picture is close. The only difference will be no green leaves on ours and the main color will be champagne and the flowers will be a very light pink. Other than that the flowers will be piled on top like this one and cascading down into fewer and fewer bunches near the bottom. Ours will also be three tiers, I am very excited to see how it will look in May!
Cake
For those of you who have not seen my dress I will not post it on here because Jason does occasionally read this blog but if you are dying to see what it looks like email me and I will send you the link otherwise you will have to wait until the wedding to see that too! I will post what the bridesmaid dresses look like though, the coloring is horrible in the picture, they are so much better in person but you can get an idea of the style at least.
Bridesmaid dresses
Well that's enough wedding buzz for now! Will update the blog tomorrow on how Cole's first Halloween went!

Well that's enough wedding buzz for now! Will update the blog tomorrow on how Cole's first Halloween went!

Six months old!
Oh where have the last six month gone! I cannot believe our baby is six months old today, I would be okay if the next six months did not go this fast. Cole had his six month pictures taken today at Brian's photography here in town and just proving that Cole will do what he wants he did not smile!! I think Brian was able to get a few good ones of him smiling, but I mean a very few. He said they would be ready to look at by late next week so I will post how they turned out when we get them back. I am also looking into buying a new digital camera, mine takes okay pictures but I would like one a little more professional and I have gotten pretty good at using a manuel lens after taking my photography class. So for Christmas we will be looking into that!
The winter storm passed us by last night through today and all Grand Forks received was a lot of rain, if only we could get this lucky all winter!

Winter is coming...
We finally got the first winter storm watch of the year. Am I excited? No. I have dreaded driving in winter weather and now with a baby I feeling like staying inside until April!! We had a fun night out tonight though at Jason's sister and brother in-law's house, they made us turkey dinner with stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn and carrots. It was a wonderful meal and to top it off I made my first apple pie for the occasion! It is much harder than I thought and I probably will not be making them too much but it was fun to see it turn out and have everyone enjoy it! Cole has also learned to drink from a glass which surprised the heck out of me! Paul (Jason's dad) was giving him sips from it and he was drinking it without any dripping out of his mouth! Such a big boy he is becoming. We are getting Cole's six month pictures taken on Wednesday and I am hoping the weather along with Cole will cooperate! I will make sure to post those as well when we get them!

Pumpkins carved!
We carved our pumpkins last night! Cole stayed up for it and loved watching everybody work on them, his uncle Jamie carved his for him since we decided a knife wouldn't fare well in his hands. But they all turned out very cute! Becky is the only one who drew and carved hers all by herself, I had to help Jason and Jamie out with their drawings and Jason finished carving mine, but we had a lot of fun carving them!

And the finished and lit pumpkins! Cole's (carved by uncle Jamie) is first, then aunt Becky's, then mine and last is Jason's! We are hoping they will stay on the porch and not end up in the street up to Halloween!

Photo shoot
Cole had pictures taken today and this is one little boy who refuses to smile in front of the camera! I think she may have gotten 5 of him smiling out of at least 100! Oh well, he looked adorable in all of them anyway! The pictures were taken by an RN (turned professional photographer) who works with Jason's mom up on the OB unit at Altru, the plan is to take pictures of staff's babies and grandbabies and hang them up around the OB floor! Much cuter than the landscape pictures they have up there now! I am excited to see how they turn out and I will make sure to post some on here once they're finished!

Sitting up
Cole has finally mastered sitting up.....well for about ten seconds anyway! He is doing very well with it and can hold his balance for a little while before falling over. He is also starting to figure out he can get up on his hands and knees although that takes a lot of work so he doesn't try it too often unless I make him! Rice cereal is still going about as good as the first day went he will take down the first few bites but after that he starts gagging still, I am hoping by next week he will decide eating it is not so bad! Cole has also figured out that he can scream, that started yesterday so instead of the talking and singing he used to do a lot of it is now all high pitched screams. As you can tell he had a very busy week! It is also midterm time for me so I had three midterms last week and I can say I am glad that week is over!

Rice cereal!!
Cole had rice cereal for the first time tonight! He did very well at first but after a few bites he decided he wasn't so sure about it and by the end he started gagging on it. But I think a few more practice tries with it and he will love it! I did decide to start 2 weeks and 1 day before he turns 6 months old but he was showing all the signs of being ready for it so as long as he continues to tolerate it well we will keep it up! Here are a few pictures of our experience!
The first taste
Another spoonful that didn't seem too bad....
And by the end it was terrible!

Baptism
I am finally getting on to update about our weekend! It has been very busy but very fun! He wore the same baptism outfit both of my brother's wore when they were baptized and it fit him perfectly! Cole was baptized today October 10th, 2010 at the 10:30am traditional service, he did very well and did not get fussy until the very end when he wanted to take a nap. We had a lot of people come to visit us for the weekend my mom and brother Andrew came Friday night, my sister and other brother Daniel came yesterday and for the baptism Jason's sister and brother in-law Becky and Jamie, his aunt Melba and his uncle Allan, cousin Angie her baby Madelyn, cousin Beth her baby Emery as well as Jason's mom and dad were there! So it was a full house here this afternoon! Cole did not feel like entertaining this afternoon though and wanted to sleep most of the day, he has not been acting like himself the past few days so I am still not sure if it is teething, upset tummy or getting sick. I wish he could tell me!
Other than that the week went by fast, it is already midterm time at school and as much as I like some of my classes I do not like others so I am already waiting for this semester to end!! Below are a few pictures of the baptism!

Pumpkin patch!
We finally made it to the pumpkin patch tonight! We tried our best last night but by the time we found our way out there (Jason drove and that's all I will say) they were closing for the evening. But we did get out there and picked out a pumpkin for Cole, Jason, myself and aunt Becky because she came with us too! There was a corn maze and a haunted trail that we walked through before picking out the pumpkins but the mosquitos were atrocious out at the farm and made it hard to enjoy. But we had fun and we are looking forward to carving all of them in another week or two! Here are a few pictures of our evening!

School
Well I met with my academic advisor this morning and I knew I couldn't leave that building feeling good because it has yet to happen since I began college back in 2003! He told me that the soonest I would be able to graduate from the graphic design program would be May 2012, and he said that would be pushing it! More than likely graduation will be Dec. 2012 or May 2013! I shocked because from what the GD requirements online tell me is that I could have been done this coming summer, however after meeting with this advisor he told me that in order to graduate with graphic design I must take entrepreneurial classes which equals another year because of course they do not offer the classes each semester. I have to take 6 classes every other semester for another year and a half! No wonder this school has so much money, they obviously think the students are made of it! Okay enough with my rant on UND....
The weather is beautiful out today so I think Jason and I are planning to take Cole to the pumpkin patch tonight to pick out his first pumpkin! I will take a lot of pictures and post them later tonight if we do make it out there!

Go Sioux!
Cole is enjoying his first Sioux hockey game from home tonight! He is is dressed for the occasion as you can see from the picture, he is also ready for Christmas just like mommy!
Cole has also figured out how to scoot backwards! He can get up on all fours but only for a second, however staying in one spot has now come to an end in this house! We are planning on heading to the pumpkin patch sometime this week also as long as the weather stays decent outside, cross our fingers!

Catching up
Cole is sleeping and while I should be taking a nap too I cannot sleep so I decided to update the blog with a little of this and that. Jason is hunting for the day so Cole feels like going to the mall after he wakes up from his nap! Cole did not sleep through the night again last night I am not sure if it is still teething, growth spurt or him getting sick but since he has let Jason and I sleep through the night from six weeks old it is hard getting out of bed at 1:30am! I can't complain though because he is such a good baby when he does get up! Hoping for a full night sleep tonight but we will see!
Grandma left today to head back down to Sioux Falls, she figured since she will be up here next week for the baptism she should get some things done in the few days she will be home! We will miss her company though!
I know some people (especially those not from Sioux Falls) have been asking me what our wedding reception site looks like since it is taking place in a museum, I have posted some pictures below so everyone can see where we will be celebrating after the ceremony! There is a balcony above part of the room of which I did not get pictures of because I was in a hurry but I have posted what I was able to capture! Only 7 1/2 more months!!
The reception venue: This is a picture of the ballroom in the museum and the day I took the pictures it was actually set up for a wedding the next day.
I could not get this picture to turn the right way but this is another view of the room.
This is a picture of the ceiling where the antique chandelier hangs.
The room can be set up differently but ours will be set up pretty close to how these are set up.

Babysitting Grandma
Well Grandma came up from Sioux Falls last night to watch Cole and today while I was at school and Jason was a work Grandma walked outside and the door was locked behind her! Cole in the meantime did just fine playing with his toys in the living room while Grandma watched from the front yard. Thankfully we are only at the rolling from back to stomach stage so not too much trouble was made! Jason was able to hurry off the job to come let her in, but I think tomorrow I will have to give Cole instructions to keep track of Grandma!
The other tooth on the bottom right finally came through today also! It has been a rough few days (still sleeping through the night with all the teething though!) so hopefully some happier days for the rest of the week! Cole has also decided to protest bedtime for the past week and has decided that he likes 10pm to be his new bedtime. Hopefully we can get him back on his 8pm-6:30am schedule, I like that one better!

5 month old!
Cole is five months old today and he did not have a good five month "birthday!" One tooth has come through but that other one on the bottom is fighting it and making our poor baby miserable! Cole had a rough day and what I am thinking could be a long night....fingers crossed he will sleep through but I cannot complain if he doesn't, it will only be about the 7th time he would not have slept through the night since he was 6 weeks old! But I hope for his sake he gets a good nights sleep. He has enjoyed seeing his Great Aunt Jan and Great Uncle Warren and is also looking forward to Grandma coming from Sioux Falls to visit for the week! But below is his five month picture, better sleep while I can!

Back from Vacation
Well we had a wonderful time back in Sioux Falls! Jason and I were able to get our engagement pictures done Saturday morning! I woke up to hear the sound of rain and was not too happy about it, but by the time pictures rolled around the sun was shining and everything went great! We hope to see the pictures within a week or two, I will post the link on here when they're up so everyone can see them! Cole also took his first trip to the falls this weekend in Sioux Falls, he slept the whole time so he was relaxed at least! I have posted a picture of him and I below to show how much fun he thought it was. Cole was also great on the car ride down there, he didn't cry once. The way back was not as good but the only fussing was from Fargo to Grand Forks.
We tried on Uncle Andrew and Daniel's baptism outfit that they wore when they were baptized and the shirt and hat fit great! The pants do fit, however I have a feeling by the time October 10th rolls around they could be a little tight. I think he will still be able to wear it though, it will only be for an hour and half at the most!
